Who we are

The Buenos Aires Convention & Visitors Bureau is a non-profit association created in 2008 by private companies from the meetings tourism industry, such as conference organizers, hotels, event venues, destination marketing companies, private transport and logistics agencies, caterers, conference interpreting companies, and entertainment, staging, lighting and sound production companies, among other professionals.

The BAC&VB’s efforts focus on positioning the City of Buenos Aires as one of the leading events and conventions centers in Latin America, thus contributing to the city’s economic, social and cultural development.

The Bureau has the support of the City government and works closely with the Buenos Aires Tourism Office, acting as a link between public and private sector interests to foster initiative, growth and action. This joint effort is a guarantee of both quality and success, as it promises a broad spectrum of exciting options for organizing all kinds of event, and the means to ensure the result meets the highest of expectations.
